Living Through Grief is offered periodically. This group is for adults who have suffered loss, especially the death of a loved one. The class uses video clips and discussion topics to help participants understand the depth and breadth of grief, and offers support and coping skills for those who are experiencing it. Contact Stephanie Alexander if you would like additional information.
Ad hoc groups have read and discussed a variety of books, and a new group is always welcome. Past books studied include a biography of Martin Luther, American Gospel by Jon Meacham, Devil’s Ink by Jeffrey C. Pugh, and The Shack by Paul Young. Archives of a 2016 online study of the book Grounded by Diana Butler Bass is available on Facebook. If you have a suggestion for a new book study/discussion group, click here.
